" Street Fighting Man " is the song of the British group Rolling Stones from their 1968 album Beggars Banquet . Before the album was released a separate single . (It was the first and only single from the above album.)

Creation History
The song was originally written with other words (then it was called “Did Everyone Pay Their Dues?”) And even recorded in this version in the studio.
“Street Fighting Man” is one of the most politically active songs of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to the present day. Jagger allegedly wrote her about left- wing activist Tariq Ali impressed by how he participated in an anti-war rally in 1968 at the US embassy in London , during which the mounted police dispersed a crowd of 25 thousand people [5 ] . He also found inspiration in the growth of violence from student rioters on the Rive Gauche in Paris [6] , the forerunner of the period of civil unrest in France in May 1968 .
Awards and recognition
In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine put the song "Street Fighting Man" by the Rolling Stones group to 295 place in its list of " 500 greatest songs of all time " [7] . In the list of 2011, the song is in 301 place [8] .
