Chistyakova, Lyudmila Alekseevna

Born March 26, 1934 in the city of Pskov in a large family of workers.

During the Great Patriotic War, the family was sent to evacuate to the Sverdlovsk region. In 1945, she returned with her family to the Pskov region and since 1950 began to work at the Novoselsky state farm.

In 1955 she moved to the farm “Vilpovitsy” of the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region.

Since the early 1960s - one of the best pigs in the Leningrad region. Repeated winner of the district and regional competition of livestock breeders. In absentia, she graduated from 8 classes and Besedsky agricultural college. In 1964 she joined the Communist Party.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 22, 1966, for her achievements in the development of animal husbandry, increased production and meat procurement, Chistyakova Lyudmila Alekseevna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

Since 1979 - the team leader of the livestock complex under construction, where she organized a clear cycle of reproduction of elite young pigs, and in 1983 the team raised the planned 20 thousand young animals.

Lives in the village of Orzhitsy, Lomonosov district.

She was elected as a deputy of the Leningrad Regional Council, a member of the Lomonosov District Committee of the CPSU, the regional committee of the trade union of agricultural workers and procurement.
