Story

The film takes place in the 58-59th years of the XX century.

Rosa lives in a remote French province with her father. She is engaged to the most enviable bachelor of the town and is doomed to lead a quiet and modest life of an average housewife until the end of her days. Everything changes when Rosa takes a job at a charming and ambitious Louis. He discovers the girl’s typing abilities and teaches her, using his own method, blind typing . Rose is making incredible strides. Having won several competitions, she makes her way to the French championship in speed dialing. Before the final round, Louis is trying to stir up Rosa, saying that in training she showed speed higher than her opponent Mary Taylor, but he hid it from her. Angry, the girl develops a speed of over 500 characters per minute and wins the title. A career opens before Rosa, leading typewriter manufacturers are ready to conclude advertising contracts with her. However, she had a falling out with Louis. Rose has to prepare for the fight for the world title.

Before the final round, when Rosa lags behind the competition in the competition hall in New York, Louis suddenly appears. He understands what Rose needs. Love returns and helps Rosa win the title.
