Geography

The village is located 9 km south of the center of the village of Krasnoye Flame and 24 km northwest of the city of Alexandrov , near the K-Kholmogory highway M-8 .

History

In the patriarchal salary books of 1628 in the village of Myakishev the church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is listed. In 1654, the patriarchal scribe Semyon Khlopov recorded Myakishevsky church by mistake as "newcomer" under the name of the Church of the Holy Supreme Apostles Peter and Paul with the aisle of the great Miracle Worker Nikola. In 1708, 56 yards were registered in the parish of Myakishev village. In 1798, a new stone church was built at the expense of parishioners. There were two thrones in it: in the real cold in the name of the holy apostles Peter and Paul, in a warm meal in the name of Nicholas the Wonderworker. The parish consisted of the village of Myakishev, the village of Ostafiev, the village of Vzvozov, villages: Mistrina, Poluvzvoz, Lisav. In the village of Myakishev since 1886 there was a literacy school, there were 9 students in the academic year 1892–93 [2] . During the years of Soviet Power, the church was completely destroyed.

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Tiribrovsky volost of the Alexander district of Vladimir province. In 1905 [3] there were 35 yards in the village.

Since 1929, the village was part of the Tiribrovsky village council of the Alexander district , later - as part of the Krasnoplamensky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Krasnoplamensky rural settlement .

Attractions

In 2005, on the site of the former Peter and Paul Church, a new small one-domed brick church was built, consecrated in the name of Michael the Archangel [9] .
