The song was later translated into English and 1982 was released by American singer Laura Branigan . Her version was also a hit [1] , a single with her sold only in the United States in more than 2 million copies. In addition, the song was nominated for a 1982 Grammy Award in the category “ Best Female Vocal Work in Pop Style ”.
