History

2012

The group was formed in 2012. In the same year, the group released the eponymous EP album. [2] [3] The album used interview samples from Charles Manson , as well as monologues from the movie Saints from the Slums and the cult film Taxi Driver . After the release of the EP, the Almond-shaped Body begins an active concert activity, while one of the first concerts takes place in Kiev, Ukraine. Then a number of concerts were played in the CIS countries. In the winter of the same year, the group organizes on its own a small music festival called Alternative Drive Injection in the city of Vitebsk, Belarus.

2013

In 2013, the guys became finalists of the Belarusian stage of the Emergenza International Music Marathon. [four]

2014

In 2014, the city of Smolensk, Russia, was added to the geography of performances. The team released a single called "QI", which was a turning point for the Almonds, after which their work rose to a new level. [5] In the summer of the same year, the first studio cover of the team released the Deftones song “My own summer”, which received a lot of accolades both in the CIS and abroad. The band then takes a short creative break to record their first full-length studio album. Finally, towards the end of 2014, a single from the upcoming album “Breathe” appears on the net.

2015

In January 2015, the debut LP group saw the light of day. [6] The album was called “ADEVA” - “an album in which, like an inflamed mind, everything was mixed: past, future and present, faith, love and war ” - this is how the musicians themselves described their work. [7] The name “ADEVA” itself comes from the first letters of the names of the group members. [5] It was planned that the album will include nine tracks and two bonus tracks, but in the end, “Adeva” includes eight tracks of the group and a cover version of “My Own Summer” by Deftones. [8] The whole album has one composition, the authorship of the text of which does not belong to the vocalist of the group. The authorship belongs to Zakhar Gorodissky - a soldier of the Great Patriotic War, a poet who died in 1943. “ We dedicated the song“ 1943 ”to love during the war, ” the musicians say. Sergey KNOB Lyubinsky, the sound producer and musician of the Ukrainian TOL group, worked on the sound of this album. Later, the debut video of the team for the song “Soul” appears on the net [9] . In December, Mindalevidnoe Telo won the Best Group nomination, and also won the Grand Prix at the Such Gingerbread Youth Festival. [10] The album “ADEVA” was included in the list of the best music albums of 2015 in Belarus. [eleven]
