History
Until 1866, the village had the status of a state. Until 1920, the village was part of the Tatarkasinsky volost, and until 1927 - in the Cheboksary district. In 1927, the village became part of the Tatarkasinsky district , in 1939 - into the Sundyrsky district , in 1962 - into the Cheboksary district, and in 1964 - into the Morgaushsky district.
Title
The history of the name of the 3 villages Forest Khachiki, Field Khachiki , Lower Khachiki refers to the period of migration of the Mari from the White Sea. And such tagged settlements (1-2 temporary houses) were located on migration routes and were marked with a “gach” label (through). For example: Vaigach , Sergach , Kolkach , etc.).
