Tadmore ( Arabic: تدمر ) or Palmyra - district (Mintaka) as part of the Homs governorate , Syria . The administrative center is the city of Tadmore.

Geography
The area is located in the eastern part of the Homs governorate. In the east it borders with Deir ez-Zor governorate, in the south with Damascus governorate, Jordan and Iraq , in the west with the Homs and Al-Muharram districts, and in the north with the governorates of Hama and Al -Raqqa .
