Success
The first successful game in the series was F1 2010 , which was released in 2010 and received many positive reviews. Despite the fact that some of the subsequent games in the series were less successful, Codemasters continues to develop the queen of motorsport simulations, and sometimes even sets a new bar. Such games were F1 2013 , and then F1 2016 , which were well received in the gaming press, as well as among fans.
Reviews
The series experienced different moments in its history, some games were rated quite high, while others received much more restrained reviews. The least highly rated games are F1 2014 and F1 2015 , in which there was a lack of modes and some other problems. [2] [3] The highest marks were awarded to F1 2010 for the triumphant return of Formula 1 simulators to the main gaming platforms, [4] and F1 2016 , in which a much improved career mode appeared. [5] However, in 2017, the next part of the series was released, which managed to get the highest ratings for its entire existence. [6] [7]
