Urih is a continually smoking, very inquisitive journalist from the New York newspaper Daily Bugle . Urikh learned the secret of the personality of Daredevil and uses it as a source of information and vice versa. To a lesser extent, he has a similar relationship with Spider-Man, whose alter ego Peter Parker was a photographer for Bugle, who sometimes accompanies Urich on assignments. Urich used these connections to expose supervillains posing as businessmen, including Kingpin and the Green Goblin .

Ben Urich appeared in the 1st season of the Daredevil television series, played by Vondi Curtis Hall . [2] He works as a journalist for the New York Bulletin , who is trying to take care of his wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease , because he is not able to afford medical payments or transfer her to a nursing home. He also regularly clashes with his editor, Mitchell Ellison, who is more interested in maintaining the circulation of the New York Bulletin and competing with social media, while Urik is more interested in writing stories about important public issues. After writing a piece of disclosures about corruption in the Union Ellide, Urich attracted the interest of the former Union of Allied Secretaries and began working with Karen Page , Matt Murdoch and Foggy Nelson to expose Wilson Fisk . In the end, his investigation leads him to cooperate with Daredevil . As the season progresses, Ben urged not to associate himself with Karen. However, after Karen manipulates him to visit and interview Fisk's mother, he sees the need to take it off again. Uriha devotion to the story will eventually cost him his job after he suspects and accuses Ellison of paying Fisk. Later, when he tries to write his story and publish it on a blog, Fisk rushes into his apartment and strangles him to death with his bare hands, in retaliation for turning to Marlin. After Urik's death, it was proved that while he was wrong about Ellison, he was right about Fisk, who has a birthmark on the New York Bulletin , as a reporter colleague, Caldwell, was arrested by the FBI for her involvement in Fisk's criminal activities. Allison can only bow his head in shame for not counting Urik. But Urik is buried, his wife tells Karen that she embodies Ben's character traits.
In season 2, Uriha lives thanks to Karen , who devoted herself to learning more about Frankl Castlel with the help of Ellison in her efforts to end up getting a job as a New York Bulletin correspondent to her workplace. in the office of Urik.
Movie
Ben Urich appeared in the 2003 feature film Daredevil , played by Joe Pantollano . In the film, he works at the New York Post , as the rights to the Daily Bugle were tied to Spider-Man movies. He discovers the secret of Daredevil's personality during his investigation. Urich is one of the few people who believe that Daredevil could be nothing more than an urban myth. But when faced with the ability to print the story and decides to publish it, he realizes that Daredevil does a lot of good in the city.
