Krutikov, Alexander Vasilievich (born January 28, 1960, the village of Vetrino , Polotsk district , Vitebsk region ) is a Belarusian basketball coach, head coach of the national basketball team of Belarus . In 1981 he graduated from BSUFK with honors as a trainer, and in 1986 he successfully completed postgraduate studies at the university. In the same year, he began working at the RTI basketball club , becoming a trainer in scientific and methodological work. Since 1991, he moved to the position of assistant coach. In 1993 he defended his thesis on basketball and received the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences.

After BSUIR he left for Poland, where he spent almost his entire coaching career. For 20 years he has been at the helm of 6 Polish teams, coaching in the Higher and Second Leagues and showing decent results with his teams.
Twice was appointed coach of the "star" teams at the Polish All-Star Game - in 2006 and 2011.
He became a coach of the national team of Belarus in December 2015. Prior to qualifying for Eurobasket 2016, he held several training camps, where he watched all the promising young basketball players from the teams of the Belarusian championship, and then almost brought the national team to the continental championship. Belarus defeated Poland away (76:57), but lost in the last match away from Portugal (62:77).
