Story
In the role of special forces soldier Delta, the player will take part in a number of military operations in different parts of the world. There are a total of 10 single missions in the game, and the plot itself is built around the search for and capture of the arms dealer, with the consequent elimination of his criminal organization. Unlike the previous game in the series , DF: Xtreme 2 is not a remake.
Gameplay
Like Delta Force: Xtreme, the game moves away from the linear-corridor gameplay of Black Hawk Down to the classic open world for the series and a free approach to performing tasks. In each mission, the player is given a number of tasks that must be completed for the successful completion of the mission, but the way to perform these tasks is left to the player’s choice, which often implies almost complete tactical freedom of action. Before each mission, a player can listen to a full briefing, familiarize himself with the map, and also choose for himself suitable weaponry and equipment. As in the Xtreme, there is an opportunity to use light vehicles, as well as heavy weapons.
The game has a single mode, cooperative and multiplayer . The latter resembles a multiplayer mode of another studio project - Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising , but with a bias in dynamic infantry battles.
A feature of the game is also extremely realistic combat survival - both computer opponents and player characters die from one or two hits from any weapon to any part of the body. Of course, instant death from hitting a limb is a game conditionality, however, in real combat conditions, a fighter also often fails after any penetrating gunshot wound and can no longer fully participate in a combat collision.
