Kvayres al-Sharqi ( Arabic: كويرس شرقي ) is a small town in northwestern Syria , located in the Aleppo governorate. It is part of the Deir Hafir region . It is the administrative center of Nahiya Kvayres-Sharki.

Geographical position
The city is located in the central part of the governorate, north of Lake Al-Jabbul , at an altitude of 356 meters above sea level [1] .
Quirez al-Sharqi is located approximately 27 kilometers east of Aleppo , the provincial capital, and 310 kilometers north-northeast (NNE) from Damascus , the country's capital.
Population
According to the 2004 official census , the population of the city was 3,129 people (1,631 men and 1,498 women) [2] .
Transport
The nearest civilian airport is in Aleppo [1] .
