The house of E. Dukmasova is a monument of architecture and an object of cultural heritage of regional significance, which is located on 123 Enlightenment Street, in the city of Novocherkassk, Rostov Region [1] . It is protected by law in accordance with Decree No. 325 of December 17, 1992 [2] .

History
This house was built at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, the owner of the building was E. Dukmasova. Detailed information about it has not been preserved in historical sources. Researchers in the study of the house came to the conclusion that the building is a high-quality preserved example of such an architectural style as red-brick modern . Along the entire perimeter of the street, houses have been preserved that contain unusual architectural elements of the time.
The facade of the house is decorated with a minimum number of elements. Above the entrance to the house is an arched motif, on the sides of the entrance are surrounded by half-columns . The same arched motif is also present in the horseshoe-shaped platbands of windows, in the pediments of the beam form. The canopy is made of metal. The door is wooden, carved [1] . Since 1992, the house is recognized as an architectural monument and an object of cultural heritage [2] .
