Jerin Hogarth made his debut at Iron Fist # 6 (August, 1976) and was created by screenwriter Chris Clairmont and artist John Byrne .

Fictional Biography

After the death of Wendell Rand, Hogarth became the executor of the will of his property. He began to keep an eye on Wendell’s son, Iron Fist , after he returned to the States, hiring Colleen Wing and Misty Knight to contact him and see if he really was Danny Rand.

Over time, Hogarth became a Heroes self-employed lawyer. Initially, Heroes for Hire was a small licensed organization in New York, offering a range of services to potential customers. The organization had offices located on Park Avenue, and its staff consisted of two full-time employees: Secretary Jenny Royce and lawyer Jerin Hogarth, who also acted as the group’s official representative.

Jerin asked Luke Cage and Iron Fist to accompany his daughter Millie Hogarth to the ball to impress his ex-wife. Nightshade, Stiletto, Diskus, Man of the Mountain Marco and Eel tried to abduct her.

During Civil War events, Hogarth opposes the Registration Act for superheroes. Jerin stops Iron Man from arresting Iron Fist, claiming he is already registered as a U.S. weapon.

Jerry Hogarth appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe performed by Kerry-Anne Moss , [1] being the first lesbian character in this universe [2] . Hogarth acts as a lawyer at Hogart, Chao and Benowitz.

Jerry Hogarth makes her debut in season 1 of the Jessica Jones series, where she provides Jessica Jones with business, despite disagreeing with Jessica's methods. After the tragic incident with Hope Schlottmann, who, under the influence of Kilgrave , killed her parents, Jessica turned to Jerin to become her lawyer. This led to Kilgrev’s attempt to kill Jerry with the help of her ex-wife Wendy, who is under his control. Hogarth was saved by her lover Pam, who subsequently broke off her relationship. After the assassination of Jessica Kilgrave, Jerry is present at her interrogation and convinces the police to let her go.

In Season 2, Daredevil mentions that Jerry hired Foggy Nelson's ex-girlfriend , Marcy Stahl, to work after most Landman and Zack staff were arrested for aiding Wilson Fisk . In the season finale, she meets Foggy Nelson and offers him a job at Hogarth, Chao and Benowitz, impressed by his work in the Frank Castle case [3] . Matt Murdoch convinces Foggy to accept Hogarth's offer.

In the series Iron Fist , it turns out that in the past, Jerry worked at Rand Enterprises . When Danny Rand returns to New York, Jerry agrees to help him prove his identity out of respect for his father, provided that, if successful, their firms will be regular partners.

Moss will reprise his role in the upcoming Defenders crossover series [4] [5] .
