Born in 1948 in a peasant family in the village of Abay in the Dzhambul region of Kazakhstan. From 1961 he worked as a milkmaid at the Kirgiz Experimental Plant Breeding Station.
In 1990, serving 20 fodder cows, received an average of 7,225 kilograms of milk from each. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 7, 1991, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
He was repeatedly elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR (1970-1987).
