Biography
Francis of Zatorsky was born in 1849 in Lithuania . Upon graduation from the university in Vilna, Zatorsky took up pedagogical activities, first in the Vilnius school district , then (since 1832) - in the Warsaw district [1] .
Towards the end of his life, F. Zatorsky was a teacher at the Siedlce Gymnasium [1] .
Francis of Zatorski died in 1849 in the city of Warsaw [1] .
Zatorsky is known as an original writer and as a translator; in particular, he translated (from Russian) Kaydanov’s Essays on World History (Warsaw, 1832), which has been published in six editions, and compiled a pointer to the history of Russia by Ustryalov (Warsaw, 1841 and 1850) [1] .

2) A collection of poems entitled: “Triolety” (Vilna, 1830).
3) “Pisma liryczne i religijne” (two volumes, Warsaw, 1833-1835)
4) A treatment of the Lithuanian folk epic entitled “Witold nad Worsklą” (Warsaw, 1844)
5) Essay from life “Siedmioro dziatek” (Warsaw, 1844)
6) “Znicz nad Niewiazą, poemat z podań Litwy, Żmujdzi i Polski” (Siedlec, 1845, 2 volumes) [1] .
