Biography
In 1983 he graduated from MGIMO . From the same year in the diplomatic service.
In 1983-1986 - worked at the Embassy of the USSR in the Union of Burma / Myanmar.
In 1990-1994, he worked at the Embassy of the USSR / Russia in the Union of Myanmar (in 1989, the name of the country changed from "Burma" to "Myanmar"). He worked at the embassy in Myanmar for more than six years, including a translator from the Burmese language [1] .
In 1996 he graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In 1998-2002 - an employee of the Russian Embassy in Nepal .
In 2010-2014, he was Consul General of the Embassy of Russia in Chennai , India.
From February 2015 to July 2016, he was Deputy Director of the Second Asian Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On July 1, 2016, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. After being appointed ambassador to Myanmar, he replaced Vasily Pospelov at this post [2] .
