Biography
Albrecht Heinrich is the third son of Duke Charles I of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and the Philippines Charlotte of Prussia , sister of Frederick the Great , younger brother of Duke Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand . He studied with his brothers under Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Jerusalem . Following the brothers, Prince Albrecht Henry devoted himself to military affairs and served in the Prussian army under the command of Crown Prince Carl Wilhelm Ferdinand. Four days after winning the battle of Felinghausen, the 19-year-old prince engaged in a battle with the French, bravely fought the enemy, and was mortally wounded in the neck. Buried in Braunschweig Cathedral .
