Biography
Pellington was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1984, where he received a sports scholarship thanks to his participation in the Lacrosse team .
He worked for MTV from 1984 to 1990 as a promotional producer.
Since 1984, Pellinton has been acting as a screenwriter and director of music videos. His first work is a video on the song Leonard Cohen's Dance Me to the End of Love.
Having tried himself in directing on television, Pellington made his film debut in 1997. Debut - Tragicomedy Fellow travelers with the participation of Jeremy Davis , Ben Affleck and Amy Lokane .
Personal life
He was married to Jennifer Barrett, who worked as a costume designer on his projects. In 2004, she died at the age of 42. The couple has one child left.
