Biography
Born in 1918 in the village of Vergunovka (now Lugansk region ).
In October 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army . In the army since December 1943. On the night of July 26-27, 1944, near Dvinsk ( Latvia ), he carried out sapper reconnaissance of the area. July 24, neutralized 50 minutes. September 24, 1944 awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree . On the night of November 3–4, 1944, he carried out engineering exploration of Lake Lielauces-Ezers (Latvia) and ensured patency. December 1, 1944 was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree . On the night of December 23-24, 1944, near the Dirbas farm ( Latvia ), during tank reconnaissance, it ensured the passage of vehicles through the enemy’s engineering obstacles, destroyed five enemy soldiers with automatic fire and captured three valuable prisoners (“languages”). He was shell-shocked in the battle, but continued to fight. June 29, 1945 was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree .
He died on July 21, 1965.
