Biography

Ivan Pavlovich Kuznetsov was born on April 15, 1918 in the village of Lukhovka [1] and grew up in a prosperous peasant family. He was the only one of four brothers who graduated. Brother Mikhail was dispossessed in the 1930s during collectivization , after which he hid from repressions with relatives in Kazan for more than a year.

Since July 1941 - in the ranks of the Red Army ; commanded a saber platoon of the 24th Guards Cavalry Regiment ( 5th Guards Cavalry Division ), was wounded three times in battles (08/13/1942, 1943, 4.7.1944) [6] [7] . During the war, joined the CPSU (b) [7] . The Great Patriotic War claimed the life of one of his older brothers.

In 1948 he graduated from the Kuibyshev Construction Institute with a degree in civil engineering. He began his career in the position of foreman of Trust No. 21 ( Ufa ). In 1953 he was appointed chief engineer of Trust No. 21, and two years later - the head of SU-6. Since 1958 - chief engineer and manager of Trust No. 21 [8] . Since 1968 - deputy chief, and since 1970 - head of the Main Directorate for the Construction of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1970-1978 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [2] [9] .

Under the leadership of Ivan Pavlovich Kuznetsov, sewage treatment plants were built at the Ufa Refinery named after XXII Congress of the CPSU (OAO Ufaneftekhim ), new production facilities and workshops at the Ufa synthetic alcohol plant (OAO Ufaorgsintez ) and the Ufa PO Khimprom (OAO Khimprom) [2] .

He was elected to the Supreme Council of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [2] [9] :

  • VII convocation of the Arslan constituency No. 238 [3] ;
  • VIII convocation from the Kugarchinsky constituency No. 200 [4] ;
  • IX convocation from the Zilair constituency No. 177 [5] .

Family

In a happy marriage with his wife Venus, Ivan Pavlovich had two daughters - Marina (1947) and Larisa (1950).
