On the basis of the station "Sapphire-2Z" created the radar "Sapphire-25" for the MiG-25 P.

Destination
The radar is designed to review the airspace in the front hemisphere, detecting air targets and issuing target designation for targeting air-to-air missiles. The radar operates as part of the system SUV-23 and its modifications
Construction
The station is made in the form of a container (monoblock). "Sapphire-23D" weighed 550 kg.
