Dzhambeytinsky district - the administrative-territorial unit of the Ural province of the Kyrgyz (since 1925 - Kazak) ASSR , which existed in 1920-1928.

Dzhambeytinsky county with the center in the city of Jambeyta was formed in 1920. Initially, it included the following volosts (they were all nomadic):

In 1920-1923, the weekly county newspaper Eric Tili was published [1] .
On March 1, 1923, the Karabass, Kokbaktinsky, Kuperleankatinsky, Tasobinsky and Chidertinsky volosts were abolished.
On June 28, 1923 the volosts were abolished: 1st and 2nd Dzhambeytinsky, Karasuyskaya, Kokuzekskaya, Kurailynskaya, Mateshskaya, Sunalinskaya, Tamdinskaya, Tuzdykulskaya, Uzekskaya and Chalkarskaya. The Dzhambeytinsky volost is formed with the center in the city of Dzhambeyta. The center of the Duanin volost was established in the tract Duan-Kul, Kaldygaytinsky in the tract Kan-Kul, Taipakskaya in the tract Kzyl-Kuduk, Sabynkulskaya in the village Kara-Tyube, Buldurtinskoy in the tract Konyr-Kul, Dzhaksybaevskaya in the tract Azan Aschisayskaya - in the tract Kozhageldy, Ulentinsky - in the tract Tokish-Kul.
On August 23, 1923, the following volosts were transferred to the Jambeytinsky Uyezd from the abolished Kalmykovsky Uyezd : Baibarak nomad, Baigutdin nomad, Balyktin nomad, Buyrek nomad, Glinenskaya (center - Glinensky settlement), Kalenovskaya (center - Kalenovsky settlement), Karak Kzyl-Uy tract), Karasamarskaya (center - Kzyl-Kuga settlement), Karmanovskaya (center - Karmanovsky settlement), Katyn-Chagilskaya (center - Katyn-Chagilsk settlement), Kruglovskaya (center - Krugly settlement) and Slamikhinskaya ( center - p. Slamikhin).
Soon, the Baibarak, Balyktinsky and Byurek volosts were abolished. The center of the Baigutdin volost was established in the tract Bazar-Kul. Kalenovskaya and Kruglovskaya volosts were transferred to the Ural district .
On October 2, 1923, the Karasamar volost was transferred to Guryev district .
On March 13, 1924, the Glinenskaya and Karmanovskaya volosts were transferred to the Dzhangalinsky district of the Bukeev province , and the Slamikhinsky volost - to the Talovsky district of the same province.
At the end of 1924, Inder (center - tract Kuman-Tyube) and Karasamara volosts were transferred from Guryevsky county to Dzhambeytinsky. The Karasamar volost was soon annexed to the Katyn-Chagil volost, which was transferred to the Guryev district.
On January 17, 1928, the Jambeyta district was abolished. Moreover, its territory was divided between the Ural and Guryev districts [2]
