History
Until 1857, in such documents as confessional and metric books, the church in the village of Zaklinie (Dubrovo is an old, second name of the village) was listed as the Church of St. Nicholas, since 1857 it is indicated as the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
The stone church was built in 1842, in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God with the warm chapels of St. Nicholas and Elijah the Prophet. For the church parish there were 36 acres of arable and hay land, more than 4 acres of manor. At the church there was a wooden gatehouse with a parochial school and a barn with a carved pillar of the 19th century, but it was not preserved and burned.
In 1901, served as a priest I. M. Krestnikov (38 years old), deacon A. V. Preobrazhensky (38 years old), and psalm-reader A. P. Yashin (35 years old). Salary was not, the percentage of capital - 350 rubles. and annual income of 517 rubles. Among the parishioners in this period were the military - 217 men and 199 women, peasants from. The spell (34 yards) - 93 men and 105 women, as well as in the village of Bolshie and Maly Puptsy , Abakumovo , Sluditsy , Grigorovo , Lipnoe , Smochely , Kamennoye , Veliyashevo , Khoroshevo - only 392 yards (1289 men and 1369 women). In the mid-1930s, the service in the church was closed.
Current State
Currently, the church is abandoned and dilapidated: lost floors, interior and painting.
The building of the Kazan Church is a monument of architecture and history (passport number 1116 in the Committee for the Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Tver Administration). Patronal feast day of the Prophet Elijah (August 2).
