Content
Geography
The settlement is located 10 km to the north-west from the district center of the city Kolchugino near the R-75 Koloksha-Kolchugino-Aleksandrov-Verkhniy Dvoriki highway.
History
It was formed in the early 1970s as a settlement of the Metallist state farm department. In 1975, the center of the Florischensky village council was moved to the village of Metalist. In 1984, a new building of the Makarov secondary school was opened in the village. Since 2005, the settlement has been the center of the Florishinsky rural settlement .

Infrastructure
In the village there are the Makarovskaya main secondary school [3] , the cultural center, the Makarovsky first-aid obstetric center, and the department of the federal postal service [4] .
Economy
The village has an agricultural production cooperative "Metalist".
