Khazar ( Az. Xəzər TV) is a private Azerbaijani general-purpose television channel launched on October 2, 2007, which replaced STV Khazar. The channel shows a variety of programs, television series and television shows.

History
In 2000, STV Khazar began broadcasting a channel in Azerbaijani. In September 2007, at the meeting of the NSTAR (National Council on Television and Radio of the Republic of Azerbaijan) , the launch of the Khazar TV channel was announced. On October 2, 2007, at 20:00, the broadcasting of the STV Khazar television channel was stopped and the Khazar TV was launched. For half an hour the logo and intro were shown, and at 20:30 a telecast of “Agenda” was released. The guest of the program was NSTIRAR chairman Nushirevan Maharramli . Broadcasting of the channel lasted until 01:30 hours. Khazar TV or simply Khazar was displayed as a logo.
Currently, broadcasting is carried out through Azerbaijani cable operators, via Azerspace-1 satellite, via the Internet, as well as IPTV .
The headquarters was initially located in Yasamal district on Zakhida Halilova Street, then it was moved to Ataturk Avenue, 28. Since December 30, 2015, the headquarters has been located in the Khatai District, on Nobel Avenue, in a building owned by the channel. The building consists of 10 floors and 265 rooms.
The opening was attended by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan on Political Affairs Ali Hasanov , the chairman of the National Television and Radio Council Nushirevan Maharramli , the executive director of the State Support for Media Development Foundation under the President Vugar Safarli , the chairman of the press council Aflatun Amashev, deputies and intellectuals.
January 29, 2016 began broadcasting in 16: 9 image format. On February 2 of the same year, the news studio was updated. September 4, 2016 the logo has changed.
