Biography
Born on August 28, 1851 (according to other data of 1851 in the village of Belka , [3] now Peremyshlyansky district ) in the village. Glorious [4] (Zborovsky povit, Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria , the Austrian Empire , now Zborovsky district , Ternopil region , Ukraine ) in the family of a priest of the village of Belka (now Peremyshlyansky district ) [3] Ignatius (Gnat) Telishevsky.
He studied in Lviv: first at the gymnasium, then at the law faculty of Lviv University . He worked as a notary in Turk , was elected vice marshal of the Turkov district council. From 1889 to 1895, he was the ambassador to the Galitsky regional Sejm of the 6th convocation, [4] (selected from the IV curia in the district of Turku- Borin [1] ). His candidacy was agreed by the Ukrainian and Polish election committees. [5] He was a member of and was the secretary of the Russian Club [1] until his departure on May 24, 1894. [6] He played an important role in organizing the deal between the Ukrainian and Polish fractions of the Sejm of 1890 (the “new era" [3] ). In particular, on October 17, 1890, he met with the governor of Galicia, Count Casimir of Baden . On November 24, 1890, together with Emelyan Ogonovsky , Konstantin Levitsky , Alexander Barvinsky , Kornila Mandichevsky, Metropolitan Sylvester Sembratovich took part in the press conference of Count K. Baden, at which the results of preliminary negotiations were summarized.
From 1891 to 1897 - the ambassador of the Reichsratu of Austria-Hungary (from the Sejm [4] ), in 1897 he stopped active political activity (completely [3] ). He moved to Buchach, where he worked as a notary .
One of the employees, sincere advisers to the mayor of Buchach Clement Rogozinsky (next to the rector, dean ( UGCC ) Buchach v. Denis Nestayko and others [7] ).
Wife - Theodora Zubritskaya (1862-1898).
He died on April 21, 1913 in the city of Buchach (now Ternopil Oblast , Ukraine). He was buried in the family crypt of the Zubritsky-Telishevsky at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, field number 7. [8]
