Konstantinova (Dagda region)

Konstantinova ( Latvian: Konstantinova ) is a settlement in the Dagda region of Latvia . The administrative center of the Konstantinovsky volost . The distance to the city of Kraslava is about 36 km (via Auleya ) [1] . According to data for 2015, 201 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, a primary school, a community center, a library, a feldsher and midwife station, a post office, a grocery store, and the Catholic Church [3] .

History

The village is located on the territory of the former estate of Konstantinovo.

In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Iskra village council of the Kraslavsky district . In the village was the central estate of the Iskra state farm [1] .
