The Natural History Museum at Tring is a zoological museum in the Tring area, UK. Founded as a private museum by Walter Rothschild . For a long time it was called the Walter Rothschild Zoological Museum , since April 2007 it has the current name. It is managed by the London Museum of Natural History .

On the territory of the museum is the board of the British Union of Bird watchers .
History
Founded by W. Rothschild in his possession Tring Park as a collection of private collections. The first building was built in 1889. Opened to the public in 1892. It is transferred to the state in 1937.
Novitates Zoologicae
From 1894 to 1948, the museum published the magazine [1] . The first editors of the magazine were Rothschild himself, Ernst Hartert and Karl Jordan [2] .
