Massurrealism

Massurrealism ( English Massurrealism ) is one of the directions of contemporary art of the late XX century, which is characterized by a combination of mass media, pop art, surrealistic images and modern technology. The term mass realism was coined by an artist named James Seheifer in 1992 . This is a kind of evolution of surrealism using technology and mass media. Sometimes massurrealism is considered an offshoot of postmodernism , although, as mentioned above, it is rather a further development of surrealism, in which technology is only a catalyst.

Of course, mass-surrealism was influenced by the media, which exemplify the use of surrealistic images. These include print media, movies, and music videos.
