Club career
He began his professional career in 1988 at Danubio . From 1992 to 1994 he played for the Argentinean Independiente . He spent 1995 in Colombian " America ." The following year, he signed a contract with the Mexican Monterrey , where in 2 seasons he played in 83 matches and scored 1 goal. In 1997 he was leased to the Brazilian Vitoria . In 1998 he returned to Danubio. He also played for the capital's Racing and Rentistas . For the last in 2007 he completed his career as a football player.
International Career
September 27, 1988 made his debut for the national team of Uruguay in the match against Ecuador (2: 1). He played in the national team for nine years, during which he spent 48 matches.
As part of the team, he participated in four America's Cups : 1991 , 1993 , 1995 (Uruguayans won the tournament) and 1997 .
