Regent Berlin ( Four Seasons Berlin until 2004) is a five-star hotel in the Mitte district of Berlin on Gendarmenmarkt . The building with a travertine facade was erected in 1993-1996 according to the project of the architect Joseph Klajhus in the style of the so-called “critical reconstruction”. The customer of the project was Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts . Construction costs amounted to 150 million euros. In 2004-2010, the hotel called Regent Berlin was managed by the Rezidor Hotel Group , and since 2011 the Regent Berlin has been owned by Formosa Hotel. The hotel with a useful area of ​​28 thousand m² has 195 rooms, of which 39 are luxury. The restaurant at the Fischers Fritz has two Michelin stars .
