Geography
The village of Pugachevsky is located on the north-eastern outskirts of the city of Pugachev , 249 km from Saratov , on the banks of Greater Irgiz .
History
It was founded as a village of the central estate of the Pugachevsky state farm, organized in the middle of the 20th century. The suburban state farm provided residents and enterprises of the city with the opportunity to grow vegetables on state farms under the supervision of experienced specialists. Part of the crop was also processed at a local canning factory. In 1969, a kindergarten was opened [2]
In 2012, a monument to Czech and Slovak legionnaires who fell in the battles of the civil war was unveiled on the square in front of the house of culture [2]
