Biography
Arthur Dupont was born in 1985 in Saint-Mandé , department of Val-de-Marne , France. From fourteen to eighteen years of age he studied at the acting courses of Simon [1] . I also studied English at the University of Paris III for 6 months.
Arthur Dupont’s acting debut on television took place in 2001 on the television series Julie Lescot ( fr. Julie Lescaut ). In 2003 he made his film debut in the film “ Street of the Homeless” ( fr. Rue des sans-papiers ) by Alain Carville and then in 2004 in “ Arsene Lupine ” Jean-Paul Salome . His first starring role in Jean-Marc Barr and Pascal Arnold’s film “Everyone has their own night ” was the real beginning of DuPont’s big-movie career.
In 2008, Arthur Dupont starred in Frederic Burt's “ We Are 18 ”, the following year he appeared in the film “ While You Sleep ” by Carolyn and Eric du Poti and starred with Cad Merad in an adventure comedy film “ Weekend! ". In 2010, DuPont played a major role in the Christopher Thompson film “ Bus Palladium ” for which he was nominated as the most promising actor at the Cesar film award. Two years later, Dupont, paired with another young French actor, Guillaume Gouy , played a major role in the comedy drama “ Mobile Home ”.
In addition to acting, Dupont tried himself as a vocalist in the group “Bring Back the Blues” and intended to leave the acting profession for the sake of a musical career.
In 2014, Arthur Dupont made his debut as a director with the short film “I Will Die with You” ( fr. J'irai mourir chez vous ).
