Biography
Born on October 7, 1945 in Lvov in the family of an officer; his mother was the editor of the divisional newspaper. Up to 13 years old, he was brought up in the village with his grandfather and grandmother in the Ryazan region , then moved to Moscow [1] .
After graduation, he entered the history department of Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov (Department of History of Southern and Western Slavs) [1]
In 1964-1967 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR [1] .
In 1973 he graduated from the Faculty of History of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov, went to work at TASS . In 1974-1976 he was a TASS correspondent in Poland [1] .
He worked in senior positions in the publishing house " Young Guard " [2] .
In 1979–1984, he was a TASS correspondent in Czechoslovakia [1] .
In 1984, he was transferred to the International Information Department of the Central Committee of the CPSU as a specialist in Central and Eastern European countries, knowing Slavic languages [1] .
In 1984-1989 he worked in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU - he started as an instructor in the department of international information; in 1988 he worked in the propaganda department of the Central Committee of the CPSU [2] .
In December 1990, together with the sculptor Vyacheslav Klykov, he founded the national-patriotic newspaper “ Russky Vestnik ”, becoming its chief editor [2] (the first issue was published in January 1991 [3] ).
In October 1991, he entered the organizing committee of the Russian Party of National Revival (RPNV); At the end of November 1991, the Appendix (Issue No. 4) of the Russky Vestnik newspaper published a package of documents of the PRNV Organizing Committee (Address, Charter, Program and “Concept of the Revival of the Russian Nation and Russia”). At the constituent assembly of the PRNV on December 21, 1991 he was elected one of the deputy chairmen of the party.
In early 1992, he took part in the preparation of the Congress of Civil and Patriotic Forces, organized by Viktor Aksyuchits , Mikhail Astafevs and Nikolai Pavlov, at which the Russian People’s Assembly (PHC meeting) was established on February 8-9, 1992.
In 1992, he also entered the Russian National Cathedral (RNS-Cathedral) of Alexander Sterligov ; at the second congress of the RNS in June 1992, he was elected a member of the Duma of the RNS-Sobor.
In November 1993, he was on the list of candidates (no. 62) for deputies of the State Duma from the Fatherland electoral bloc. The bloc did not collect the necessary number of signatures to participate in the elections.
In August 1995, he was included in the list of candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the II convocation from the electoral bloc “ZEMSKY SOBOR - union of zemstvo, Cossacks and Orthodox-patriotic organizations of Russia”. Block signatures not collected.
Since September 1995 - member of the Orthodox Political Conference.
After the re-establishment of the Union of the Russian People in 2005, he became a member of the Main Council of the organization. Refused to sign the Letter 5000-5000-50000 . He was an honorary coordinator of the movement of the People’s Cathedral .
In 2012, he joined the opposition Russian Public Union .
He died on October 6, 2013 from acute heart failure before one day to 68 years [4] [5] .
