Biography

Born May 25, 1920 in the town of Bobrovishchina (now Chernihiv region ) in a working class family. After finishing seven classes, he worked as a handyman at a sugar factory. In the Red Army since September 1943, from that time he took part in hostilities.

During the Budapest offensive operation , he successfully completed the critical mission of the command three times. December 10, 1944 awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree .

During the offensive battles in Slovakia in January 1945, during the reflection of the enemy’s counterattacks, the area was mined. February 9, 1945 awarded the Order of Glory 2nd degree .

During the battles near the city of Brezno ( Slovakia ), on the night of March 14-15, 1945, as part of an reconnaissance group, installed Bistitsa-Gromanets on the road, with a landmine containing ammunition. May 15, 1946 awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree .

Demobilized in May 1946. He lived in the village of Kobyzhcha ( Chernihiv region ). He worked as the chief agronomist on the collective farm . Died September 4, 1991.
