Voronin, Igor Nikolaevich

Igor Nikolaevich was born on December 18, 1963 in Omsk. Then he moved to Volzhsky, where in 1981 he graduated from school number 18.

In 1986 he graduated from the Volgograd Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Internal Combustion Engines. He worked as a foreman at the Volgograd Tractor Plant , a foreman for the repair of hot rolled equipment at the Volzhsky Tube Plant in the workshop TPTs-1. In 1996 - Deputy Marketing Director General, then General Director of OJSC Energotechmash ^[1] .

He served as mayor of the city from 2000 to 2005, was re-elected in 2005 ^[1] . At the same time in 2003 he graduated from the Volga Humanitarian Institute with a degree in Economics ^[1] .

Having lost the election for mayor of the city of Marina Robertovna Afanasyeva in 2009, he returned to the position of Director General at Energotechmash OJSC ^[1] .

He participated in the mayoral election in 2013, where he won by a wide margin ^[1] .
