Spike is the 1983 platform game for the Vectrex system. Spike is considered the Vectrex mascot, one of the first mascots of video games, and Spike is one of the earliest examples of voice synthesis in video games. [1] [2]

Spike was reissued on iOS in 2013 as part of the Vectrex Regeneration app. [3]
Gameplay
The player must move a tiny creature named Spike through the abyss and stairs, avoiding enemies and endless pits. The player must collect Molly's bows in order to unlock the doors and reach the final level in order to save Molly from a boss named Spud and bring her home.
