Biography

Born June 4, 1915 in Petrograd in a working class family. He began his career in 1931 after graduating from the Federal Law School.

Since 1934, in the border troops of the NKVD of the USSR . In 1937 he graduated from the 2nd school of the border and internal security of the NKVD.

In 1937-1942 - assistant chief of the outpost, chief of the outpost, chief of staff of the commandant’s office of the Border and Internal Guard Directorate (UPVO) of the NKVD of the West Siberian District.

In 1942-1945, he was a senior assistant to the chief, head of the department of the headquarters of the border detachment in the Office of Border Troops (UPV) of the NKVD of the Kazakh and then Ukrainian districts.

Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943 .

In 1945-1948 - student of the Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze.

In 1948-1952 - deputy chief, head of the 66th Pamir border detachment of the Directorate of Border Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs — MGB of the Central Asian District.

In 1952-1953 - Deputy Head of the Border Troops Directorate of the Ministry of State Security of the Khabarovsk District - chief of staff. In 1953-1957 - deputy head of the Directorate of Border Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Far Eastern District — chief of staff.

In 1957-1959 - student of the Higher Academic Courses at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces named after K.V. Voroshilov.

In 1959-1960 - Head of the Directorate of Border Troops of the KGB of the Far Eastern District. In 1960 - June 1961 - chief of troops of the Khabarovsk operational group of the KGB border troops.

In June 1961 - March 1963 - chief of troops of the Task Force of the KGB Border Troops at the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR.

In March 1963 - January 1972 - the chief of troops of the Red Banner Western Border District of the KGB.

Since January 1972, retired. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR of the 6-8th convocations. A candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (1966-1969). Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (1969-1976).

He died on November 16, 1983 in Kiev .
