Biography

Born in 1907 in the city of Oryol . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1925 . After school FZU in October 1925 he was appointed chairman of the Bureau of Young Pioneers of the Zheleznodorozhny District Committee of the Komsomol , five months later - in a similar position in Livny , six months later - chairman of the local Komsomol. From October 1930 to December 1931 in the Komsomol structures in Orel and Voronezh , the first secretary of the Komsomol regional committee. From December 1931 - Chairman of the Central Bureau of Young Pioneers at the Komsomol Central Committee, member of the Bureau of the Komsomol Central Committee - all until March 1935 . Under him, the apparatus of the Central Bureau of Young Pioneers grew to 24 people, the pioneer organization became a school organization, pioneer detachments had to operate only under the guidance of teachers.

After the pioneer movement, he continued his career in the army: Major General ( July 28, 1944 ), Lieutenant General ( May 9, 1961). In 1947 - 1950 - Head of the Personnel Directorate of the Logistics of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In 1950 - deputy head of the Political Directorate of the Ground Forces, from 1950 to October 1950 - head of the Political Directorate of the Moscow Military District .

From October 1950 to April 1953 - Deputy Head of the Department for the selection and distribution of personnel of the CPSU Central Committee. Next - the deputy head of the Department of administrative and trade and financial bodies of the Central Committee of the CPSU, first deputy ( 1954 ). Since 1954 - Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Bodies of the Central Committee of the CPSU, First Deputy ( 1957 ), Head of the Department ( 1957 - 1960 ), First Deputy ( 1960 - 1962 ). Head of the Political Directorate of the Leningrad Military District , member of the Military Council of the District ( 1960 - 1962 ).

Since 1962 - Secretary of the CPSU Committee of the Military Engineering Artillery Academy. Dzerzhinsky.

He died in Moscow in 1976 .
