Koltsova, Vera Alexandrovna

She graduated from the history department of the Chelyabinsk Pedagogical Institute .

In 1977 - defended her thesis, topic: "Communication and the formation of concepts."

In 2004 - defended her doctoral dissertation, topic “Theoretical and methodological foundations of historical psychology” ^[1] .

The area of ​​scientific interests of V.A. Koltsova: social psychology , history of psychology and historical psychology . In her studies, problems of the methodology of the history of psychology were developed, the system of her fundamental concrete scientific approaches, principles and methods was first described. She made a significant contribution to the concrete scientific study of the history of Russian psychological thought. She worked on the development of problems of source study and the practical creation of the source base of the Russian history of psychology, the study of the creative heritage of Russian scientists and psychologists. She participated in conducting joint research with American psychologists on the personal determinants of communication in conditions of joint cognitive activity (1982-1983). Under her leadership, at the Institute of Psychology, the Scientific Psychological Archive was created and operated, and documents and materials on the history of Russian psychology were collected and systematized.

Professor, Department of General Psychology and History of Psychology, Moscow University for the Humanities . Teacher of the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Academy . She read basic general professional courses “History of Psychology” and “Historical Psychology”.

One of the initiators of the publication, executive coordinator and deputy chairman of the editorial board of the series “Monuments of Psychological Thought”. Member of the editorial board of the " Psychological Journal ". Represented the Russian Academy of Sciences in the interdepartmental government commission for the preparation of the State program of patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation. Vice-President of the Scientific Psychological Society named after S. L. Rubinstein ^[2] .

Member of the Grand Jury (2014–2018) of the Golden Psyche National Psychological Competition ^[3] . Since 2018, she was a member of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation on pedagogy and psychology.

The author of more than 100 scientific papers, including 3 monographs (co-authored). Under her leadership, 10 master's theses were defended.

Father - Koltsov Alexander Ivanovich (August 18, 1922-31 July 1980) - aviation colonel, graduated from flight school, navigator. Member of World War II. In the army since June 22, 1941. He fought on the South-West, Central and First Ukrainian Fronts. He made 62 sorties. After the war, he served in flight schools, worked at the Institute of Space Medicine. Koltsova Zoya Georgievna (mother) is a housewife.
