Beloborsky Zakaznik is a state integrated nature reserve located on the territory of the city of Syktyvkar of republican significance and its subordinate territory, in the basin of the Vychegda River (right bank) and Nijyas Island. History
The Beloborsky nature reserve was established on September 26, 1989 , with the aim of preserving the natural complex of the middle taiga, including the flora and fauna of the middle reaches of the river Vychegda and Nijäs Islands. [1] . The total area of the reserve is 9,000 hectares.
