Hartwig’s grandson or grand-nephew (d. 925/930), Vogt of Salzburg, a close relative of Archbishop Adalbert. Perhaps the name of the mother is Wichburg.
First mentioned in a document of 953, where he was named the representative of the king ( waltpoto , Gewaltbote) in the Carinthian Coatengau.
960 is the count in Isengau, 963 is the count in Lower Salzburggau, 965 in Central Carinthia.
Since 977 - the Palatinate of Bavaria. This position was inherited by his son-in-law.
