Marina Sergeevna Alekseeva (born June 4, 1931 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian concert-chamber singer ( coloratura soprano ) and teacher. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1991) [1] , professor (2004) [2] [3] .

Biography

Marina Alekseeva was born on June 4, 1931 in Moscow. In 1948, she entered the vocal department at the Music College at the Moscow Conservatory , auditioned by Antonina Vasilyevna Nezhdanova , from whom she received approving feedback. For three years, she studied in the class of Mirzoyeva Maria Moiseevna , and, without graduating from college, continued her studies at the Moscow Conservatory with her until 1957. Alekseeva dedicated M. M. Mirzoyeva “Vocalises for a high voice,” published in Moscow in 1975 [2] [3] .

Since 1960, the soloist of the Mosconcert . The repertoire of her concerts consisted of rarely performed works of domestic and foreign composers, songs of peoples of the world and thematic concerts: "Russian music", "Songs of the peoples of the USSR", "German music", "French music", "Italian music" and others. Has toured in many cities of the USSR and abroad (Germany, Italy). Since 1981 he has been teaching at the Music College at the Moscow Conservatory, since 1996 he has been working at the Department of Solo Singing at the Moscow Conservatory. Among her students is a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater and winner of many awards, opera singer Ekaterina Nikolaevna Shcherbachenko [2] [3] .
