In 1954, she graduated from Leningrad University with a degree in zoology.

After graduation, she entered the graduate school of the All-Union Research Institute of Lake and River Fisheries (VNIORKh, now GosNIORH) in the laboratory of fish diseases (head - corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences V. A. Dogel ).

In 1957, she graduated from graduate school, and in 1958, she was hired by the Institute of Cytology of the USSR Academy of Sciences in the laboratory "cell morphology", supervisor - I. I. Sokolov .

In 1987 she defended her doctoral dissertation, topic: "Cytological study of the intracellular parasite of sturgeon oocytes Polypodium hydriforme (Coelenterata) and the oogenesis disturbances caused by it."

She repeatedly reported the results of her work at international congresses, conferences, symposia.

Her works and their results are included in textbooks and monographs of domestic and foreign scientists.
