Shamama Tanryverdi kizi Aliyeva ( azerb. Şamama Tanrıverdi qızı Əliyeva , born May 1, 1938) is an Azerbaijani and Soviet cotton grower , a collective farmer of the cotton growing collective farm “Communist” of the Yevlakh region of the Azerbaijan SSR, a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Azerbaijan SSR [1] , cavalier of the Order of Lenin, Labor [2] . Biography
Shamama Tanryverdi kizi Aliyeva was born on May 1, 1938 in a peasant family. From childhood, was interested in cotton growing. She began her career as an ordinary cotton grower. She worked on the cotton farm “Communist” of the Yevlakh region of the Azerbaijan SSR. Aliyeva’s best result is 280-320 kg of cotton per day [4] .
By 1970, Alieva had harvested 43 tons of cotton in five years. In 1970, she managed to collect 14 tons of 400 kg of cotton. In the same year, Aliyev was awarded the Order of Lenin. Since then, Shamama Aliyev has been a deputy of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan for four years [4] .
At the beginning of the harvesting of 1976, Shamama Aliyeva turned to the cotton growers and urged them to compete for 15 tons of cotton. Many cotton growers who are masters of high-speed picking joined the call of Aliyeva. Only on the “Communist” collective farm did tens of cotton growers support Aliyev’s appeal. As a result, many brigades harvested cotton significantly more than the established norm. In the first year of the tenth five-year plan, Shamama Aliyeva herself collected more than 15 tons of cotton [2] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 10, 1982 for achieving high results and labor heroism shown in fulfilling plans and socialist commitments to increase the production and sale of cotton, grapes, vegetables and other agricultural products to the state in 1981, Aliyeva Shamama Tanryverdi kizi was awarded the title Hero Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ". [5] .
Despite the fact that the city party committee suggested Shamama Aliyeva to study in absentia at the Kirovobad Agricultural Institute , Aliyeva refused, saying that she was a cotton grower [4] .
Aliyeva is the creator and manager of the Chinar farm production [3] . Engaged in picking cotton, grain and livestock [4] .
Personal life
Shamama Aliyeva married her fellow villager, who worked as a driver in the collective farm where Aliyeva worked [4] . The couple had 10 children [1] . Shamama Aliyeva has 28 grandchildren [4] .
