Marchukovsky is a farm in the Kikvidzensky district of the Volgograd region of Russia , as part of the Dubrovsky rural settlement .

Content
History
Marchukov's farm belonged to the yurt of the stanitsa of Filonovskaya Khopersk District of the Don Cossack Land (from 1870 - the Don Cossack District). In 1859, 122 men and 120 women lived on the farm [2] . According to the census of 1873, 116 men and 123 women lived on the farm, there were 95 horses , 78 oxen pairs, 292 other cattle heads, 800 sheep in the residents' farms [3] . According to the 1897 population census , 152 men and 174 women lived on the farm, of whom literate: men - 76 (50%), literate women - 2 [4] .
According to the alphabetical list of populated areas of the Region of the Don Army, in 1915, the farm’s allotment was 1700 acres, 218 men and 188 women lived in the farm, there were farm management, a parochial school [5] .
Since 1928, the farm has been part of the Preobrazhensky District (renamed Kikvidzensky District in 1936) of the Khopyorsky District (abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga Territory (since 1934 - the Stalingrad Region , since 1936 - the Stalingrad Region, from 1961 - the Volgograd Region region) [6] [7] .
Geography
The farm is located within the Hopersko-Buzuluk plain , which is the southern end of the Oka-Don lowland , on the left bank of the Buzuluk river, on the border with the Novoanninsky district (opposite the Alsyapinsky hamlet), at an altitude of about 90 meters above sea level. On all sides the farm is surrounded by floodplain and artificial forests [8] . Soils - floodplain neutral and slightly acid and southern and ordinary chernozems [9] .
By road, the distance to the regional center of the city of Volgograd is 280 km, to the district center of the village of Preobrazhenskaya - about 20 km, to the farm Dubrovsky - 9 km.
