Buzdalov, Maxim Viktorovich

Maxim Viktorovich Buzdalov (born December 30, 1987 , Ulyanovsk ) is the world champion in programming . Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Computer Technology , ITMO University . The author of more than 50 publications in the field of evolutionary computing. Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of education (2016).

  • 2009: The world programming champion (2004) [1] as a member of the ITMO University team.

Programming

  • He participated in the organization of Internet Olympiads in computer science and programming.
  • 2010–2015: Jury member of the North Quarter Final of the Northeast European Semifinal of the World Programming Championship, Northeast European Semifinal of the World Programming Championship.
  • He participated and led the training of ETH Zurich university programming teams, which since 2010 regularly go to the finals of the World Cup, Peking University, in 2014 for the first time took third place (gold medal) in the World Cup finals, and in 2015 - fifth (silver medal), gaining only 13 minutes of the penalty time more than the fourth place team (gold medal), Tongji University (China) and Technology University of Monterrey (Mexico).
