Marketa Davidova ( Czech Markéta Davidová ; born , ) - Czech biathlete , champion and silver medalist of the 2018 World Junior Championship , two-time medalist of the World Junior Championship 2016 [2] . At the 2017 European Junior Championships in Czech Nove Mesto in the sprint race and in the pursuit race, Market won, and also took third place in the individual race .

Career
The best success of Market Davidova in the IBU Cup was the victory on November 27, 2016 in the sprint in the Norwegian Beitostolen [3] .
Davidova's debut in the Biathlon World Cup took place in 2016 in the German Ruhpolding , when she took sixth place in the relay race of the Market. Among the first results were 28th in the sprint and 48th in the pursuit .
At the first stage of the 2018/19 World Cup in Slovenian Pokljuka Market, for the first time in her career she managed to get to the podium (third place in the individual race). Her lag behind the winner Julia Jima was 16.5 seconds. The Czech biathlete spent the race with one miss at the last shooting range [4] .
On January 13, 2019, thanks to the clean shooting and fast skiing, the Davidova Czech team managed to win bronze medals in the relay race at the World Cup in Oberhof, Germany [5] . Davidova, taking the baton in 12th place, climbed 8 places in her third stage.
January 24, 2019 Marketa won her first victory in the World Cup, winning a sprint in Italian Anterselva . According to the results of the race, in which she did not make a single mistake, she managed to get ahead of the second Kaisa Mäkäräinen by 1.7 seconds [6] . At the same stage in Anterselva, on January 27, Davidova again entered the top three winners, becoming the second in the mass start, losing only to Laura Dahlmeier [7] . At the next stage of the World Cup, held in Canada's Canmore , Davidova continued her series of podiums: in the individual race she closed all 20 targets and won a silver medal, losing 9.8 seconds to Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff [8] .
